In the clip, which is going viral on social media, the young sumo wrestler Kosei steps into the dohyo to face Amamidake, a 39-year-old wrestler who appeared to have a huge advantage in terms of weight and experience.

Jeffrey Hall, a speaker at Kanda University of International Studies, shared the video on his social media, revealing: “16-year-old sumo wrestler Kosei defeated 39-year-old Amamidake, a wrestler more than twice his size.”
